Enron "whistleblower" a fraud?
Lynn Brewer has achieved fame with her new book Confessions of an Enron Executive: A Whistleblower's Story. She has given up to 200 speeches including the keynote address at a Sarbanes-Oxley conference hosted by the New York Stock Exchange. But now a USA Today investigation has raised claims about whether she has exaggerated her status as an Enron "executive" and as a "whistleblower." The paper calls her "an astute self-promoter who parlayed an undistinguished 32-month stint as an Enron employee into a lucrative career in the corporate ethics industry." Another zinger: "Her transformation from back-office researcher to international corporate governance heroine is astonishing." This is quite a story.

I wonder if this eye-opener to the whistle-blowing story is a little better
"Working diligently through the week, contributing reporter Greg Farrell from USAToday probably never realized that his actions would send an impact around the world. In a hurried rush of editorial confusion, Greg succumbed to the pressure of sending along a message that should have been double-checked."
I felt that was a better resolution to the article, actually adding to it, rather than just adding commentary.
EddieLynn Morgan/Lynn Brewer also thought she looked like Pricess Di. If someone at Enron bought a new car, out of the blue EddiLynn was in the market for better and more expensive. Our boss Mary Solmonson lived on the lake north of Houston and the next thing you know it she was shopping for a lake house. She told our boss she was going to University of Texas in Austin and was buying a car to leave the at the airport to drive while she was there, then one day our boss came up to our floor to ask if weither or not we knew if EddieLynn was going to school in Austin or not? We just looked at each other and laughed. She much like a insect or reptile that changes color to match it surroundings. Before she left Enron North America to work for Azurix she spent much of her day surfing the internet looking for a way out of the job she'd been stripped of her title and thrown into the pool with the rest of the sharks. If anyone needs to be sent to learn about ethics, I would say it should be Lynn Brewer! I wonder if she ever really got to dance with Brad Pitt at that wedding she told all the legal and contract briefing team about?
Did you get that dance EddieLynn Morgan?
